3D-Printed Weighted Wheel Set (Early Type Disc, Tire v2 7.50-20) for Blitz by Italeri, Tamiya, Miniart, Dragon in 1/35 scale

To enhance the realism of your Blitz model in 1:35 scale, we have created a range of highly detailed 3D-printed wheel sets reproducing the characteristic 7.50-20 tires used on these iconic light military trucks.
Developed using extensive reference material, the wheels capture the correct proportions, surface textures, and structural details, making them suitable for both civilian and service vehicle builds.

The series includes multiple historically accurate configurations, covering early and late wheel disc types, as well as two tread pattern variants.
Each version is available in Ordinary and Weighted styles, allowing modelers to choose the most suitable option for their specific build and scene.

  • Ordinary Wheels — for a clean, balanced appearance and factory-fresh stance
  • Weighted Wheels — to replicate vehicle load and achieve a natural, realistic tire deformation

High detail & accurate geometry
Each wheel is developed using extensive reference materials, including period photographs and technical data, to faithfully reproduce:

  • correct tire profile and tread pattern
  • accurate early- and late-type wheel disc geometry
  • realistic rim and hub proportions
  • subtle sidewall textures and surface details
  • clean mounting areas for straightforward installation

Thanks to high-resolution photopolymer 3D printing, the wheels feature crisp tread definition, sharp edges, and fine surface detail that significantly surpass standard injection-molded kit parts.
The wheels are easy to paint, respond well to weathering techniques, and integrate naturally into dioramas — whether depicting a lightly loaded vehicle or a heavily used frontline truck.

Compatibility
These wheel sets are designed to fit Blitz kits in 1:35 scale by:

  • Italeri
  • Tamiya
  • MiniArt
  • Dragon

They are suitable for a wide range of build options, including early-war, late-war, utility, and service vehicle configurations.

Blitz — versatile light truck of the mid-20th century

The Blitz was a widely used light truck platform known for its simplicity, reliability, and adaptability. Serving in transport, logistics, and support roles, it became a common sight across a variety of operational environments.

Its long service life and multiple production variations resulted in noticeable differences in wheel design and tire patterns — details that are often simplified in standard kits. This wheel series is designed to address those nuances, allowing modelers to accurately match their build to a specific period, configuration, or visual reference.
