To make your model of the legendary ZiL-157 truck look as realistic as possible, we have developed a highly detailed set of 3D-printed wheels featuring K-70 tires in size 12.00-18, characteristic of this series of Soviet off-road trucks.

The sets are designed for Trumpeter ZiL-157 kits in 1/35 scale and are available in two versions:

• Ordinary — wheels with standard geometry for a clean, “factory-style” stance of the model;
• Weighted — wheels with a load effect that reflects the vehicle’s weight and creates more natural tire deformation.

Each set was developed using photographs of real vehicles, technical drawings, and reference materials. This allowed us to accurately reproduce the distinctive tread pattern of the K-70 tires, the correct rim proportions, and the sidewall details.

High-resolution photopolymer 3D printing ensures crisp details and surface quality that significantly surpass the standard plastic wheels included in conventional kits.

ZiL-157 — a legendary Soviet off-road truck

ZiL-157 is a three-axle all-wheel-drive truck designed for high off-road mobility and became one of the most recognizable Soviet military transport vehicles after World War II. Serial production began in 1958 at the ZiL factory and continued for several decades.

The vehicle featured a distinctive layout with a long hood, large off-road wheels, and a centralized tire inflation system that provided excellent mobility in difficult terrain.

The ZiL-157 was widely used for transporting personnel and cargo, as an artillery tractor, and as a platform for numerous specialized vehicles and military equipment.

Thanks to its recognizable silhouette and historical significance, the ZiL-157 remains a popular subject among scale modelers and is often used in military dioramas.
