3D-Printed Wheel Set (Ordinary) for L. Rover 88 7.5 by AK-Interactive
To make your Land Rover 88 model look truly convincing, we created highly detailed wheel sets in two sizes: 6.5 and 7.5 inches!
The Land Rover 88 is a true icon of British automotive engineering — a symbol of durability, practicality, and legendary off-road capabilities. We’ve developed four wheel variants: ordinary and sagged (under load), in two tire sizes that correspond to popular configurations of the real vehicle.
While working on these wheels, we studied numerous reference photos, technical drawings, and documentation to accurately replicate the tread patterns, rims, and sidewall profiles. We paid particular attention to the distinctive features of 6.5- and 7.5-inch tires, which appeared on different versions and periods of the Land Rover 88.
Thanks to 3D printing with photopolymer resin, we’ve achieved a level of detail that standard rubber wheels from model kits simply can’t match. As a result, you’re getting more than just an accessory — it’s a realistic enhancement that adds visual weight, load effect, and authentic tire posture to your build.
These wheels are a finishing touch that brings out the true character of your Land Rover in scale.

Land Rover 88 — British Off-Road Classic
The Land Rover 88 is the short-wheelbase version of the legendary Series IIA and III off-road vehicles, developed by Rover (later Land Rover). The vehicle became hugely popular in both civilian and military use around the world, especially within the British Army, Commonwealth countries, and other international forces.
Its design was known for its simplicity, durability, and off-road performance — qualities that made the Land Rover a symbol of colonial expeditions, farm work, and humanitarian missions. With rear-wheel drive and selectable front-wheel engagement, an aluminum body, and a highly adaptable frame, the Land Rover 88 secured its place in automotive history.
Wheel Installation
The wheels mount onto standard D10/11 fittings of AK-Interactive kits.
The wheels feature a universal mounting point with a central 2.4 mm hole.
We recommend enlarging both wheel mounts with a 2.8 mm drill bit, which aligns perfectly with the kit’s axles.
We recommend sanding contact points (support nubs) with fine-grit sandpaper for optimal fit.
