3D-Printed Wheel Set (Ordinary) for the ChMZAP-5247G Semi-Trailer by Trumpeter and Takom

To make your ChMZAP-5247G heavy semi-trailer model look as realistic as possible, we’ve created four highly detailed 3D-printed wheel sets — available for both 1:35 and 1:72 scales:
- Ordinary Wheels — for a clean, well-defined appearance of the model;
- Sagged Wheels — to reproduce the weight of the heavy vehicle and give the tires a natural, realistic stance
These sets allow you to achieve the perfect look for your build — from a clean, display-ready model to a diorama version showing the natural weight of a loaded trailer.
Each wheel was precisely designed based on real prototypes, with accurate tread pattern, sidewall details, and rim geometry. Extensive photo and technical research ensured authentic proportions and the distinctive look of the original wheels.
High-precision photopolymer 3D printing guarantees exceptional clarity, crisp edges, and surface quality that surpass standard plastic parts from traditional kits.
These wheels are a perfect finishing touch for ChMZAP-5247G models from Trumpeter — enhancing the sense of weight, ground contact realism, and overall visual impact of your build or diorama.

ChMZAP-5247G — The Legendary Soviet Heavy Equipment Semi-Trailer
The ChMZAP-5247G is a heavy four-axle semi-trailer developed by the Chelyabinsk Mechanical Plant for transporting armored vehicles, tanks, and oversized loads.
When paired with tractors such as the MAZ-537 or KZKT-7428, it could carry loads exceeding 50 tons. Its strong frame, low loading deck, and large wheels provided excellent stability and off-road capability — even on rough terrain.
Widely used by the Soviet Armed Forces and in civilian industries, the ChMZAP-5247G became an essential part of heavy transport logistics.
Today, it stands as a recognizable symbol of Soviet engineering — robust, functional, and impressively powerful.
Wheel installation
The wheels are designed to fit directly onto the standard mounting F14 points of Takom and C13/C14 of Trumpeter kits without any additional modifications.
We recommend sanding the contact points where supports were attached with fine-grit sandpaper for the best finish.
