Fordson N Tractor v2 Sagged wheel set
Set of 3D-Printed Sagged Wheels v2 for the Fordson N Tractor by MiniArt
To give your Fordson N model an authentic appearance in its industrial and airfield configuration, we created a highly detailed 3D-printed wheel set that accurately recreates the types of tires commonly used on RAF airfields during World War II.
This version of the set reproduces the real industrial tires installed on Fordson N tractors in the 1930s–1940s:
- Front wheels: DUNLOP 3-Rib
- Rear wheels: DUNLOP R-4 Industrial Tractor Lug
Available versions:
- Ordinary — standard wheels without load
- Sagged — wheels with a weight-bearing deformation effect (perfect for dioramas)
Maximum Detail and Authenticity
During the development of this set, we precisely recreated all the key features of the industrial Fordson N wheels:
- accurate tire profiles for DUNLOP Rib Implement and DUNLOP R-4 Industrial Lug
- correct proportions of the rims and overall dimensions typical for industrial configurations
- correct geometry and proportions of historical rims
- realistic tread patterns with characteristic industrial ribs and lugs
- fine surface details and subtle textures
- natural deformations in the Sagged version
Photopolymer 3D printing provides sharp edges, clean geometry, and a level of detail impossible to achieve with traditional cast parts.
The wheels are easy to paint, weather, and seamlessly integrate into any Fordson N build.
Fordson N — a Legendary Tractor of Its Time
Produced throughout the 1930s, the Fordson N became one of the most widely used tractors in Europe and worldwide.
Thanks to its simple design, reliability, and affordability, it saw extensive use on farms, industrial sites, in municipal services, and even in military support units.
Wheel installation
The wheels fit directly onto the standard mounting points Ci3 and D8 of the Miniart kit without modification.
We recommend lightly sanding the support contact areas with fine-grit sandpaper for best results.
Hollow Wheel Design
The wheels are hollow. For technical reasons, a small drainage holes are present, which are easily sealed with a special plugs included with each wheel. The plugs are located directly on the print platform behind the wheel.
