3D-Printed Wheel Set (Sagged) for ZIL 131 by ICM

To make your model of the iconic ZiL-131 truck look as realistic as possible, we’ve created a series of highly detailed 3D-printed wheels for ICM kits. Two options are available:

  • Ordinary wheels for a classic, unloaded look of the model.
  • Sagged wheels — to recreate the vehicle’s weight and give the tires a natural stance.

Each set is based on real-life prototypes: we carefully studied photographs, blueprints, and technical documentation to accurately replicate the tread pattern, precise rim shapes, and sidewall details. Photopolymer 3D printing technology allowed us to achieve sharpness and quality that standard plastic wheels from regular kits cannot match.

These wheels are suitable for both military and civilian versions of the ZiL-131, as well as for dioramas where load effects and realistic vehicle stance are essential. They are not just accessories but a striking element that adds character and completeness to your model.

ZiL-131 — A Reliable Off-Roader with Soviet Heritage

The ZiL-131 is a three-axle, all-wheel-drive truck designed for high cross-country performance, which became a backbone of Soviet military and specialized vehicles. Its mass production began in 1966 and continued for over two decades.

Equipped with a powerful gasoline engine and a payload capacity of up to 3.5 tons, the ZiL-131 gained a reputation for its durability. It was widely used for troop and cargo transport, mounting specialized equipment, and towing artillery.

Thanks to its reliability and straightforward design, the ZiL-131 became a legend of Soviet automotive engineering and a trusted workhorse in both military and civilian roles.

Wheel installation

The wheels are designed to fit directly onto the standard mounting points of ICM kits without any additional modifications.
They feature a universal mounting hub with a central hole of 1.1 mm diameter and can be adapted for ZIL-131 models from other brands by carefully enlarging the hole to the required size.

We recommend sanding the contact points where supports were attached with fine-grit sandpaper for the best finish.
