D-20 — Soviet 152 mm Towed Howitzer

The D-20 was a Soviet 152 mm towed howitzer developed in the years following the Second World War and introduced into service in the early 1950s. Designed to provide powerful artillery support at both divisional and corps level, it combined a long-range gun with a robust carriage capable of being towed over difficult terrain.

The D-20 featured a 152 mm gun-howitzer mounted on a split-trail carriage with large pneumatic wheels.
