It looks equally at home in a display case or as part of a diorama scene.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>FCM 50t \u2014 an ambitious French tank design<\/h2>\n<p>The FCM 50t was a French post-war heavy tank project developed shortly after World War II, when the French Army was seeking a replacement for the Panther tanks received as war reparations, as well as the domestically produced ARL 44.<\/p>\n<p>Designed in late 1945 by Forges et Chantiers de la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e (FCM) as an alternative to projects such as the AMX-50, the FCM 50t reflected contemporary armored warfare concepts and was influenced by late-war German tank designs.
