        Studebaker US6 \u2014 American 2\u00bd-Ton 6\u00d76 Military Truck<\/h3>\n

        The Studebaker US6<\/strong> was an American 2\u00bd-ton, 6\u00d76 military truck developed during the Second World War for the transportation of troops, supplies, ammunition, and other military equipment. Produced by the Studebaker Corporation<\/strong>, the US6 was designed as a rugged and versatile truck capable of operating in demanding off-road conditions.<\/p>\n

        Built around a robust 6\u00d76 chassis, the US6 combined a six-cylinder gasoline engine with a manual transmission and two-speed transfer case. Its three driven axles, leaf-spring suspension, and substantial ground clearance provided the mobility and durability required for military service. The standardized chassis was produced in numerous configurations, including cargo trucks, tanker trucks, dump trucks, and vehicles equipped with winches.<\/p>\n

        The Studebaker US6 became particularly important through the Lend-Lease<\/strong> program. Large numbers of trucks were supplied to Allied nations, with the Soviet Union receiving the majority of US6 production.
